Q: Where is Lite Flight Located?

Lite Flight is located on the private terminal side of Bob Hope Burbank Airport, in the same parking lot as Atlantic Aviation. We are not located inside the Atlantic Aviation FBO.

Address: 10750 Sherman Way, Burbank, CA 91505. 818-561-4838.

Upon arrival, enter the Atlantic Aviation parking lot.

If the gate is closed, press the call box button and tell the attendant you are here for a helicopter flight.

Once inside the gate, turn left immediately.

Continue to the far end of the parking lot toward the exit gate.

We are located in hangar 10660, the last hangar on the property.

Q: What is your Cancellation Policy?

A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for all cancellations and reschedule requests. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled flight are non-refundable and will be charged the full fare. Reschedule requests made less than 48 hours before the scheduled departure are subject to a $100 rescheduling fee.

Q: Is My Flight Date and Time Guaranteed at Booking?

Online bookings are not confirmed until you receive a flight confirmation email from our team with full booking details. All online reservations are subject to availability and must be reviewed and confirmed by staff before being guaranteed.

Phone bookings are guaranteed for the selected date and time at the time of reservation.

If you have not received a confirmation email within 48 hours, please contact us.

For same-day bookings, please call us directly to ensure availability.

Q: Is the Helicopter Private or Shared?

Unless you select the “Private Helicopter” option at checkout, your flight may be shared with other guests.

If booking for two passengers without selecting a private option, there is a possibility that a third passenger may be added as a single-seat booking.

To ensure a private flight and avoid additional passengers, you may select the private option at checkout or contact us to upgrade your booking.

While shorter tours are more likely to include a third passenger due to availability, this possibility can apply to any tour.

Q: Why Passenger Weight Is Required for Booking

We collect passenger weights to comply with FAA safety regulations that require accurate aircraft weight and balance calculations before every flight.

This information allows the pilot to determine proper fuel load, seating distribution, and overall aircraft balance to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.

All weight information is used strictly for operational safety purposes.

Q: What Should I Know Before Booking a Gender Reveal Flight?

Gender Reveal Bookings

Our Helicopter Gender Reveal experiences are designed to provide a safe and memorable aerial announcement using our custom powder drop system. Lite Flight operates the aircraft and performs the aerial reveal based on FAA regulations and operational safety standards.

Booking Requirements:

For all Gender Reveal bookings, customers are required to email the following details prior to the flight for verification and operational planning:

  • The gender of the baby (for record-keeping and correct powder selection)
  • A valid government-issued ID
  • The credit card used for payment (for verification purposes)
  • The event address (to confirm FAA-compliant flight feasibility)

Location & Permits:

Flight approval is based solely on FAA regulations, airspace restrictions, and operational safety. Lite Flight does not obtain or verify local permits, permissions, or land-use approvals. Customers are responsible for ensuring their chosen location is legally permitted and for securing any required approvals for group gatherings, special events, or site usage from city, county, state, park, or property authorities prior to the flight. Lite Flight is not responsible for any fines, citations, penalties, or enforcement actions resulting from the use of an unapproved location.

Third-Party Vendors & Weather Delays:

Lite Flight is not responsible for any third-party vendors or services arranged by the customer, including but not limited to photographers, catering, or event setups. In the event of weather-related cancellations, delays, or rescheduling, Lite Flight is only responsible for the flight itself and is not liable for any costs, losses, or scheduling impacts involving third-party vendors or related event arrangements.

Q: How Many Passengers Can Fit in Each Helicopter?

Each helicopter accommodates up to three passengers, so groups of four to six must be split between two aircraft. When possible, both helicopters will depart one after the other and fly simultaneously. If a second aircraft is not available, the group will be split into two flights, and the second flight will depart once the first helicopter completes its tour and returns.

Q: After-Hours Arrival Notice

AFTER-HOURS ARRIVAL NOTICE

After-hours operations are available by confirmed reservation only.

If you have arrived for your scheduled flight reservation, please note that our front office door is locked after business hours. This is normal.

Please remain comfortably in your vehicle and wait for your pilot to meet you.

If you need to use a restroom before your flight and are unable to access our lobby, please drive to the main entrance of this parking lot, where Atlantic Aviation is located, and ask to use their restroom facilities.
